all BCH's extensive knowledge bases and a range of full
turnkey pilot plants for process cooking, vacuum cooling,
scraped surface cooling and cryogenic cooling for chilled
meals and sauces, caramel, jam, marshmallow and liquorice.
Companies can develop new products away from their
own production facilities. This avoids disruptions to
existing work flow or limitations on R&D space available
and speeds up actual trial and product developments.
This facility reduces financial risk by enabling studies
to be carried out before making decisions about capital
investment. The centre is available for hire where BCH
can offer their extensive range of equipment and staff
consisting of food scientists, process engineers, design
and mechanical engineers and software developers."
