Atomising spray cabinets are used to glaze coat confectionery or food items which cannot be handled in the traditional tumbling drum. This gives an even glaze dispersion via. low pressure air atomisation.
Spraying of confection coatings is advantageous when:
- Coating is for decorative purposes using a minimum of material and maximising profit.
- The product is ‘health’ related where nutrition balance is important.
- Full side coating is required on high sided products.
- The product to be coated has an uneven surface.
