The Coates Engineering Group incorporates Coates Engineering
(International) Limited and BCH Limited.
BCH Limited was established in 1835, and has developed
a world-wide reputation in process engineering for the
food and confectionery industries. BCH specialise in
Turnkey systems for the manufacture of jams, marmalades
and preserves, liquorice, marshmallow, caramel, cook/cool
technology for chilled and frozen meals, sauces, fillings
and fruit toppings.

has built a successful engineering design and manufacturing
company, supplying specialist fabrications, pressure
vessels and pipework for the pharmaceutical, nuclear,
aerospace, environmental and allied industries.
The Coates Group have their own dedicated Electrical
Engineering Division. As well as offering bespoke services
in the design and manufacturing of electrical control
equipment, the division has a team of software writers.
To provide an extra resource to their customers the
group has invested in a state-of-the-art Innovation
Centre, run by food scientists, process engineers and
supported by a wealth of in-house process knowledge.
